The main objective behind physical therapy is to reduce the pain and discomfort. It can help you improve mobility and flexibility. Physical therapy can help you strengthen your body muscles, enhance your quality of life, and live a stress-free life for a long time. For patients who have suffered major injuries, physical therapy can restore their mobility functions in a step-by-step manner.

Thus, lifestyle changes can help you reduce the majority of such issues. Exercising regularly, following a proper diet, and maintaining a healthy body weight can help you go a long way in physical therapy.

Physical therapy uses non-invasive procedures, and medications are not usually a part of physical therapy treatment. However, in some special cases, Physical Therapy Centers might make use of pain-relieving medications, anti-inflammatory medicines, and muscle relaxants to manage symptoms and relieve the pain experienced by our patients.

Some major procedures widely used in physical therapy centres include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities like electrical stimulation, hot/cold treatments, gait, and balance training. Depending upon the severity and critical nature of injuries or previous conditions, different combinations of these procedures with pain-relieving medications are tried out.
